Retrofit Agency Development Innovative Coordination Model

Charity
Changeworks

This project will further develop and expand its innovative retrofit agency pilot, expanding the service to support and guide a growing number of householders to invest in retrofit measures with confidence and ease. As a coordination model the service will provide a quality driven end-to-end customer journey that stimulates demand for retrofit measures, advocating the benefits of lower carbon, energy efficiency and running costs, and making homes warmer and healthier. This will be achieved by building trust through direct engagement and provision of expert information and guidance on retrofit and the most suitable measures suited to their individual home using building physics and householder living arrangements, linking householders with green finance opportunities, connection to a pre-appraised network of quality installation contractors, the coordination of retrofit measure installation, quality assurance, post installation support and impact evaluation.
