Application checklist
To ensure the best chance of success when applying for funding, check you have completed all the steps below before clicking submit on your application within our project portal.
1.
Check your organisation is registered with the Scheme
Organisations must register with the scheme. This allows us to confirm you are eligible to apply for funding. This is free and you only need to do it once.
Eligible organisations will be invited to apply through our project portal. Register at least two weeks before the closing date of the upcoming funding round; late registrations won’t be considered.
2.
Check you have chosen the most applicable funding stream for your project
There are different funding streams organisations can apply to:
- Main Fund
- Small Fund
- Impact Fund
- Carbon Emissions Reduction Fund
- Just Transition Fund
- Innovation Fund
Each funding stream relates to a scheme priority. When applying for funding you should consider which priority your project supports.

Check you have read the guidance documents

Apply for funding
Login to the project portal to prepare and submit your application in our quarterly rounds.
