Argyll, Lomond and the Isles Energy Agency Highland Energy Advice Service
Funded Project: Description
The project will deliver home energy advice to at least 26,000 households, focusing particularly on rural off-gas areas, across this large and remote area, where fuel poverty levels are some of the highest in the UK. They will offer a range of energy advice topics to raise awareness, increase resilience and reduce the risk of fuel poverty going forwards. The project will also provide free training events for 250 frontline workers that support vulnerable people, to help them to recognise and refer fuel-poor households.
