Energy Projects Plus Energy Action For Warmth
Funded Project: Description
A street by street approach to deliver energy advice to vulnerable residents across the Wirral. Energy Action For Warmth will take learning from their Sustainable Seacombe project into a new area, being the town of Greasby.
The team will split the communities into “micro areas” of approximately 175 homes and on a weekly basis will conduct an awareness campaign within a micro area, to engage with as many residents as possible. This will take the form of door-knocking, home visits, local community drop-in events and telephone advice.
Advice will be delivered by qualified energy advisers who can refer people onto other appropriate support services too.
