Energy Matters for Health Care

This is an energy advice project targeting support to people with significant health conditions, who are especially vulnerable to cold and excessive heat. 

As part of the project, their specialist energy advisor will attend regular clinics run by NHS Respiratory and Cardiac Rehabilitation teams, to provide energy saving advice and signpost to additional support. Connecting participants to schemes aimed at improving insulation in the home and addressing issues with heating systems and in-home ventilation and air quality will ensure that these households are more able to tackle issues of cold and excess heat.
