Details of Round 6 of the Energy Redress Scheme
Round 6 of the Energy Redress Scheme opened on Wednesday 22nd January 2020 and closes to applications at 5pm on Wednesday 19th February.
There are three funds open in the Round, to ensure projects of a similar nature and scale are assessed against each other.
Applications can only be made by charities that are registered with the scheme and who have access to the online Charity Dashboard, which can be found here.
Charities can only lead on one application in Round 6, so will need to choose which of the three funds to apply for. Charities can be partners (not leading) in more than one application.
Round 6 Small Project fund
Amount of funding available: £1 million
Grant Size: Minimum grant amount £20,000, maximum grant amount £49,999
Priority: Support energy consumers in vulnerable situations
Round 6 Main Fund
Amount of funding available: Up to £13.5 million. It is expected that this funding will be distributed over Rounds 6 and 7. Funding not allocated in Round 6 will be made available in Round 7.
Grant Size: Minimum grant amount £50,000, maximum grant amount £2 million
Priority: Support energy consumers in vulnerable situations *
Round 6 Innovation Fund
Amount available: Up to £2.5 million. It is expected that this funding will be distributed over Rounds 6 and 7. Funding not allocated in Round 6 will be made available in Round 7
Grant size: Minimum grant amount £50,000, maximum grant amount £750,000
Priority: The development of products and/ or services, which are genuinely innovative and not currently accessible to energy consumers or certain groups of energy consumers.
