The Retrofit Skills Home

Charity
Marches Energy Agency

The project develops a model for collaborative retrofit, skilling up the next generation of surveyors and installers and inspiring local communities to work towards low carbon homes. The project is a close collaboration of key partners undertaking the retrofit and training installers, including local authoritites, housing associations, FE colleagues, and Marches Energy Action. Open house events will show the entire retrofit process from assessment to design to installation. This is an innovative approach to address the skills gap and misconceptions around low carbon technologies, both identified as significant barriers to retrofit at scale.
