Citizens Advice Diss, Thetford and District
The project aims to empower households to deal with energy bills and efficiency in the home, by providing quality-assured, personalised energy advice. The free, independent, confidential and impartial energy advice will be delivered via freephone, email and online. Face-to-face sessions for households needing extra support will also be accessible via their offices and outreach locations in the area. The energy advice and support offered will cover a range of topics including:
- Advice on dealing with energy debts.
- How to understand bills, read meters and resolve disputes with energy companies.
- Guidance on free or low-cost changes that can be made around the home to reduce energy usage.
- Assessing the energy efficiency of your home.
- Advising on energy improvement funding schemes.
