Lancashire Women Lancashire Women Energy Advice
Funded Project: Description
This project will build on the successful delivery of a previous Energy Redress funded project. The project will provide 1-1 energy advice appointments (face-to-face and via phone), home visits which will involve the installation of small energy saving measures, and community outreach at awareness raising events.
Learning from the previous project has highlighted the need to expand the number and length of homes visits. The project will train volunteers to provide energy advice drop-in sessions in venues across Lancashire, and to support home visits which will not only give additional support for vulnerable individuals, but also upskill and empower individuals to become energy champions in their communities.
