Funded Energy Redress Projects

Since the Energy Redress Scheme launched in 2018, Energy Saving Trust has awarded over £213 million to fund nearly 790 projects across England, Scotland and Wales. These grants have enabled organisations to deliver projects that help energy consumers in vulnerable situations to save energy and money in their homes and to live warmer, more comfortable lives.

Govan Community Energy Team

The project will establish a new community energy team to support the most vulnerable within the Govan community to deal with fuel poverty.  It will partner with Govan’s three Housing Associations - Elderpark Housing Association(EHA); Govan Housing Association(GHA) and Linthouse Housing Association(LHA). These Associations own and manage over 4000 properties, with 83% of households located within the most deprived 15% of datazones (SIMD20).

Positive Action For Health & Wellbeing

They will continue to provide in-depth support for vulnerable consumers with mental health challenges and through its continuing partnership with Cornwall Mind, they will help these clients sustain engagement in its energy advice and casework services to resolve energy issues. Immediate warmth measures will be provided for households failing to achieve basic warmth, with its team accessing additional crisis funding for energy costs and energy efficiency improvements. Positive Action for Health & Wellbeing will continue to tackle the challenges facing vulnerable households at high risk of fuel
