East End Citizens Advice Bureaux
The project aims to help householders in Hackney, Newham and Tower Hamlets, gain access to energy advice and support efficiently, as well as increase their knowledge, skills and resources relating to energy issues. They will engage with low-income and vulnerable hard to reach households, and frontline professionals to enable energy education to reach all levels.
The project will provide 1-1 energy advice (via telephone, home visits, and community events) for vulnerable families and/or households who need urgent support with solving their energy issues. Through outreach work, they will also engage with various partners including schools, children centres/family hubs, local authorities, housing associations, and GPs, to deliver quarterly face to face pop up energy information sessions in the community.
